Happy New Year everyone!! I am trying to keep with my intent to post more regularly on this board. So, here I go.......this is a recipe given to me by a friend but originally comes from Pillsbury. I had some trouble finding the apple pie spice ingredient, McCormick's small container, but finally found it at Super Target (surprise). It is an easy recipe and very good and was enjoyed over the holidays!!

APPLE SLAW

Salad..........4 cups coleslaw mix (from 16 oz. bag)

1/4 cup sliced green onions (4 medium)

2 medium Granny Smith apples, cubed

Dressing......3 Tablespoons sugar

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon apple pie spice

3 Tablespoons cider vinegar

2 Tablepoons vegetable oil

In large bowl, toss salad ingredients to mix.

In small bowl, mix dressing ingredients until well blended*. Pour dressing over salad; toss gently to coat. Serve immediately, or refrigerate until serving time.

* set dressing aside if serving later and then pour on salad
