You only get 6 at about $2 per ball, so kind of pricy-- the sauce they are in is great. But also discovered that Ina Garten--she is a chef and a fav of mine--also likes them and she made them or will make them and explained why she thought they tasted so good and what she would add. I'm going to further investigate this. I would love to make meatballs like that. My m-balls are passable not great----but edible. 🤨
I haven't tried the Rao's frozen meatballs, but will look for them. Wonder if Costco sells them? The Costco Kirkland brand frozen meatballs are good and we also like the Trader Joe's frozen beef meatballs.
I have a good recipe for turkey meatballs that I make from scratch when I have time, but we really LOVE the made from scratch beef/veal/pork raw meatball mixture.
Last year I bought the Rastelli's beef/veal/pork raw meat meatball mixture at Q but it hasn't been available since then and I don't see it available anywhere online.

Speaking of pasta sauce, has anyone tried Giuliana Rancic's mother's pasta sauce, Mama DePandi?
I saw a segment with Giuliana and her husband Bill promoting the sauce on the Kelly Clarkson Show about a month ago. I have not seen the brand in my local grocery store, HSN and Walmart sells it.

I've tried Mama DePandi"s from HSN and liked it very much.

The RAO'S marinara sauce is a pantry staple for us. I get the 2-pack at Costco. As soon as they're used, they're added to the shopping list for next time.

I tried it. I've been cooking with jarred sauces for decades before Rao's came on the scene, and let's just say I won't be switching. The minute I opened the jar (marinara), I knew it wasn't the consistency I like for my pasta e ******ioli. I like a thicker sauce that holds up to a nice addition of olive oil, and to me this was watery. So I used it on gnocchi. DH liked it, for me it was meh.
