I am a fan of that brand. I use the pasta red sauce all the time. And just discovered their frozen meatballs!! OMG--they are so delicious!! You only get 6 at about $2 per ball, so kind of pricy-- the sauce they are in is great. But also discovered that Ina Garten--she is a chef and a fav of mine--also likes them and she made them or will make them and explained why she thought they tasted so good and what she would add.  I'm going to further investigate this. I would love to make meatballs like that. My m-balls are passable not great----but edible. 🤨

love Raos sauce !   When I don't have time to make my homemade ,  simmer all day sauce it's  a good substitute.  Time saver.    didnt know they did frozen meatballs .  I'm a fan of frozen meatballs though.

Yes!  I like their tomato sauce.  I'm going to Costco this afternoon and they usually have a double pack of their sauce.

I like Roa's sauce, but haven't tried the meatballs.

I buy MamaMancini's meatballs at Walmart, $9.42 for 5 meatballs 1.5 pounds. These are the best I have had and better than my homemade. We had the MamaMancini meatballs in subs for lunch yesterday.

When I make meat balls I use the Rao's recipe I found and it's really easy.  People always ay how tender and yummy they are and not expensive to make. Never buy frozen meatballs anymore since finding this recipe.

@wagirl

BJ's has frozen meatballs...not at home now but I have posted they NJ firm that makes them.

I found it easier and quicker to cook the meatballs by baking on a special rack and pan.  The meatballs bake and the excess fat drains.  They are then frozen.  When heated in sauce they are very good.

The tray bottoms stack inside each other and the open wire racks also self stack and sit inside the stacked bottom pans. Can do 12-15 / pan.

This is our favorite jar sauce. My homemade sauce is our preference, but I keep a supply of the Raos jarred sauce in our pantry for quick dinners. Costco will have the larger sized two pack of the basic Raos marinara sauce as a coupon item several times a year, that's when I stock up.

I LOVE RAO'S!!!!! That is the only spaghetti sauce I use, stopped making my own when I found it.

We don't usually have fullsized meatballs, I frequent an Italian food shop that stocks frozen mini-meatballs that are meant to be used in Italian wedding soup, I keep them in the freezer and we use them in sauce.

The Raos meatball recipe sounds good. I just looked it up. I make mine similarly.

I have only tried frozen meatballs once and they were Mancini's and they were decent.

A few times, I visited a speciality Italian supermarket in Jersey and they sell prepared Italian meals, Francese, Picatta, Marsala, etc and they have meatballs and they are outrageous!

My sister lives near this place and for the world of me; I can't figure out why she wouldn't pull up there at least twice a week and call it dinner!
I'd be there every night trying all sorts of meals!
