All About Rib Roasts

[ Edited ]

I'm cooking mine today, and my son (an expert at cooking rib roasts) sent me the link shown below

He highly recommends also looking at the dry/wet rub recipes on that website, especially his favorite, Mrs. O'Leary's Cow Crust.  I've had it several times and can vouch for its excellence!

We have made plenty of prime rib. They always turn out yummy. Those in the pic at that link are a little to pink for me. We like it med rare to med. We take off the smoker at 140°. I like the pic of the 2 dogs. Looks like the one behind is thinking no that's mine not yours. LOL!!!

@novamc1   This site has a lot of good information.  I saved a document in my recipe file to create a link to for the URL.  Thank you for sharing it, I am sure it will come to good use in the future.    --Mrs. G.

Awesome website @novamc1! I've bookmarked it.

I've wanted to try making prime rib ever since I saw the America's Test Kitchen episode on it. It's the price of this cut that has stopped me at the moment.
