ANGELS DEVILED EGGS (as requested, for Gkelly5744)

I'm posting this recipe because of a request (from DEPGLASS, AND Gkelly5744) in my CRAB DEVILED EGGS thread. I hope you like it as much as (literally) EVERYONE who has ever tried these does. Like I wrote in the other thread, be careful what you're getting into, as you might be asked to bring these to every function from here on out.{#emotions_dlg.laugh} {#emotions_dlg.thumbup}

I've de-throned many self-proclaimed "deviled egg queens" (at their own parties, no less) with this recipe (which is always a plus! {#emotions_dlg.devil2}). But we all know it comes down to everyone's own taste.

These are a sweeter version of deviled eggs. But the saltiness of the olive, with the sweetness, is just the perfect bite. Even kids love these.

I hope anyone who makes these can post back to me and let me know what you think. I have included everything that I use to make them the eggs that are so craved, but of course you can use your own type of ingredients, keeping in mind that it may change the tastes that I was describing above.

ANGELS DEVILED EGGS
12 eggs (makes 24 halves)
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp Paprika (plus more for sprinkling on top)
Dash of pepper
4 Tbsp mayo or Miracle Whip (I always used MW, until I discovered Dukes mayo!)
2 tsp Balsamic vinegar
1 tsp mustard (I use Guldens Zesty Honey Mustard)
1 tsp Horseradish, prepared (I use extra hot)
2 Tbsp sweet relish (I use Sweet Pepper and Apple Relish from Cracker Barrel),
small jar of green olives, pimento stuffed, sliced
Hard boil eggs, however you usually do. Have a bowl of ice water and ice cubes ready when they're done. Place immediately from boiling water to ice water, allow to sit in the ice water until cold. This is a NO fail way to peel the shell the easiest (IMHO). Peel the eggs, cut lengthwise and scoop out yolks into a medium bowl. Mix in all other ingredients (except olives). Mix until smooth (can use fork or hand mixer on low). Stuff the egg halves with the mixture, sprinkle with Paprika, and place a slice of olive w/ pimento standing on its side on the top. Cover and chill. They get better after sitting in the fridge.
