Dr. Oz’s 7-Layer Fat-Fighting Dip
I love a good dip and this one has health benefits too!
Ingredients:
4 cups shredded lettuce...
3 medium ripe avocados mashed and mixed with 2 tbsp lemon juice
1 1/2 cup Greek yogurt mixed with 1 package low-sodium taco seasoning mix
1 can black beans
3 medium diced tomatoes
2 cans sliced olives
8 oz 2% cheddar cheese
Directions:
Starting with the lettuce on the bottom of a bowl, add each layer on top of the next, ending with sprinkling the cheese on top. Alternate one celery stick with each whole grain chip to cut your calories in half.
Enjoy!!!

Excellent recipe, thank you for posting. I've cut out dairy (would omit the cheese). This healthy tip to alternate the whole grain chips with celery (veggies) is good too. Love Doc Oz. Love a layered dip. Trader Joe's sells a plant-based cream cheese that is a excellent, so I could use that instead of the Greek yogurt. Thanx!

@CherryHugs Please be sure to report back after you have made it.
Regarding the low fat cheese, there are also a couple of brands of fake cheese (can't remember the names) that were on a frozen pizza I tried. YUK!

LOVE cheese too (all kinds) especially Italian cheeses, but it ruins my LDL numbers so I stay away. I indulge when a plate of homemade lasagna is placed in front of me, but I don't buy it anymore. I love(d) Krafts Neufchatel cheese and Parmesan and it was in my diet a lot. I've adjusted.

The olives and cheese might have a suprising amount of sodium. For me that would be a no.

@Still Raining use salt free olives or none at all. Im not planning to add olives since I dont like them.

@World Traveler Yuck is right! I only use regular cheese. I feel that is fine if we dont use too much!!

@LoveMyBaby I need to reduce cheese intake!! I love cheese and I know that I eat too much of it. Fresh Parm is so yummy.
