A lot of people are intolerant of others' views and opinions.  It's a shame they don't realize the world isn't all about them.   Variety and diversity make the world a better place.

@CalminHeart,

And we wonder why we can't have world peace.   People on a tv shopping channel website get nasty when an opposing view is given!   Sadly, world peace is not likely to occur.

There are more people today who never seem to have anything nice to say about anything......

Lets face it the country is divided, and there are some folks that shout there beliefs louder then others.

I agree - I love a good chuckle.  I come here in the mornings in my pajamas with a cup of coffee and the TV news on in the background.  It's usually the postings that are written in the most serious tones that make me laugh the most, but I do love the photos and jokes.  Some of the back-and-forths get interesting and I have learned a lot over the years by reading here.  If I ask a question, I'm sure to get answers!   Yes, I enjoy others' opinions.  When a subject turns ugly, I move on to more pleasant conversations.  I can ignore the nasty posters, or read them and think "Wow, that poster must be very unhappy."   I avoid host-bashing threads and 90% of the forum topics - only actually read 3 of the forums here.   If it wasn't fun and informative, I wouldn't come here.   But then, if I didn't come here in the mornings, I'd have to pay more attention to the morning news, and most of that is bad.
