This one annoys me so much I had to post it on two different threads!

Sorry, I just had to add this one - it gets on my last nerve:

"It has a little more guts to it..." (SG referring to Premier Knit)

Could we maybe use the word "heft", maybe "bulk", or "weight"?  Guts just isn't something I want to envision when looking at a piece of clothing!

"The thing IS is that......."..........It may have been "cute " at one time like the incessant hissing of s's but it simply sounds ignorant now.

I coudn't find a word that applies to hissing and sucking secretions through your cheeks but I dispise the repetitive intrusion of these sounds !  Smacking one's lips  at the end of every thought is as annoying!!!!!!!

I have grown to despise..."Oh, and by the way..." (Used when pointing out an obvious fact).

I watch a lot of sports television and I couldn't believe it when those announcers started using the phrase as well!

Thankfully it seems to have run it's course.

to "wait for it", so I stayed. then regretted it!) 😄

When I'm watching the news and they keep saying, "Coming up at 11:00. . . " we're going to tell you about this, and this, and this.  I want to scream, "In the time you just wasted, you could have told already me!"
