Re: remembering QVC hosts from the past

I know where Mike got his sense of humor. HIs mom, Peggy Rowe, has written several humorious books and posts on fb about life as a "senior." She and Mike's dad moved into a senior residence  a bit ago and she posts on fb about their adventures. Very witty!!

@shoekitty, exactly. What a pleasure it used to be on a Friday evening watching a host present a purse and knowing the details, even without a vendor.

All features were mentioned. All measurements given. I can't remember the last time I heard a host mention the drop length of a purse strap.

Potential customers should not have to go online to find this information, which often isn't available there. QVC squanders the advantage they have over other online retailers.

EXACTLY....AGREE 100% of everything you said

I've even heard hosts tell viewers to go online for more information (because they were too busy goofing around instead of giving product information). What a way to talk yourself out of a job 🙄... And if they dont believe it once available in other forms---Pier 1, Bed, Bath, & Beyond, ToysRUs, Forever 21 ----have all become ONLINE ONLY RETAILERS! That wouldnt be a crazy option for QVC....

Why?  Too many of you keep looking back-why?  These people are not coming back!

Because the Q was so much better then.

Nice to remember all the past hosts, my favorite will always be Mary Beth. Liked many others Lisa R, Kathy L

And judging by what I assume is a family photo in one of her posts, it looks like the whole family has a great sense of humor.
