"Check You Out, Making Style Moves"

I almost cringe when I read that subject line on emails from QVC.

It strikes me as somewhat demeaning - "check you out - getting all stylish . . . " The implication being that they are surprised that I am looking at something they consider "stylish".

I realize this is beyond petty but I get these emails fairly often and that subject line always gives me pause.

Does it strike anyone else in the same way?  Just wondering . . .

It’s cringey for sure. Just sounds like an out of touch company trying to sound in touch lol

Fortunately, I don't get any emails from QVC and if I did I would "unsubscribe."

I'm laughing as I feel the same way.

I think the message could be better phrased perhaps something like "you have great taste" which is a bit more conducive to buying...Smiley Indifferent

@JohnnyWasnt

Not only the email .... some of the hosts and label reps can also be quite insulting with their snide remarks.

I'm at the point now - something said that bothers me - I change the channel.

Re: "Check You Out, Making Style Moves"

@JohnnyWasnt   I agree, it's a dumb line to send on an email, but fits right in with FRI-YAY, Shawn saves Christmas, Shawn saves Spring, etc.  Like another poster said a little while ago, maybe Shawn can save QVC.

Makes me wonder what their marketing team is doing.  Along with those annoying emails, they still have the annoying popups.
