iPad and website problem

Not exactly sure where to post this. Five months ago I bought an iPad. I bookmarked the QVC site because I like it better than using the QVC app. From the site I could always watch QVC live. Today when I selected watch QVC live it said because my device does not support Adobe I could not get on. I then had to download something so I can watch the show live. My question is what the heck changed from one day to the next? For five months I was able to watch and now they tell me I need adobe. Did they do something to their website? Just wondering .
