Yes, that is insane. They put on a ridiculously high QVC price, then put it “on sale,” at a price that is still too high.

It is 100% cotton. In addition there is a coupon circulating PUMPKIN.

It's woven plaid, not printed. The side-seams match. I think it looks very well-made. If you look around for quality flannel shirts, $70 is about what they cost. Sure you can find the cheaper ones but not usually made with good quality fabric.

My computer shows 69.00, then with the 25% off coupon = 51.75.  100% cotton.

@ellaphant  It is a high price. I agree with you. If you go to the Macys site and put "womens 100% cotton flannel shirts" quite a few pop up. The first one is brushed cotton and on sale for between $33 - $35.

I will say that the Joan Rivers shirts are gorgeous. I love both colors.Smiley Happy

@ellaphant - I think it looks like excellent quality; the fabric, the detail and the matching of the plaid.  None of that is cheap.  It's something that should last for years.

You can always go to Walmart, if you want something less expensive.

I have a number of Joan Rivers items and they're as beautiful today as they were when I bought them years ago.  I can't say the same for "cheap and cheerful" things I bought for less money.  Each has its purpose.

I am not sure why prices on items bother people, especially in this day and age when a lot of costs have increased!

I suppose some people just live in their own world of what they think a price SHOULD be.

Quality often costs more, and many natural fabrics have gone up a lot.

I do not really wear flannel shirts, but my husband LOVES them in the WInter.

He owns shirts from the Vermont Flannel Company, as well as many Ralph Lauren Polo, and those prices run around $90.00 to $200.00, but are very well made, with lovely patterns, and soft, durable fabric.

Yes, Boscovs and JCP also sell men's flannel shirts at much cheaper prices, but the flannel is usally a little rougher and stiffer, and the color designs not as elaborate.

Of course, you can always wait until the Spring when flannel starts to go out of season, and then the price goes down.

I guess if you do not want to pay for flannel, you would NEVER want to pay for silk--I used to buy silk blouses ALL the time, even here on QVC from Bob Mackie.

Nowadays most silk blouses are priced from $300.00 -$500.00!! I rarely buy anymore, but I treasure my past purchases.

There's always a lot to be thankful for if you take time to look for it.
For example, I am sitting here thinking how nice it is that wrinkles don't hurt.
