Well, since this post appears to have been made at 4:00 p.m. and the show ended at 4:00 p.m. - it doesn't seem you turned off too fast.  You waited till it finished to say you were "turning off now"?  (Everyone "turned it off" then, as they went into the pre-recorded segments.)

Is it too much to ask that at least on Christmas Eve, you cut the hosts some slack?  One day to let it go?

I watched this right to the end and I saw Jane (yes, Jane - it's okay to say her name; no need for "this host") and Angel getting along just fine.   And no one makes Angel just "stand there"; she's very capable of speaking up and does!  Must've been watching a different show, but I recorded it so, just in case I missed something, I'll go watch it again.

Well my post didn't appear after 7:00.  That don't mean I watched the whole show.

@Kachina624

Deirdra does have beautiful skin. (I have no idea how to spell her name.) Honestly, I cannot understand why the girls are on so frequently and why they want to be. Unless she's grooming them to be hosts.

The OP said "turning off now", which means she had just switched off the show.  That's why I underlined that sentence.  It had nothing to do with when you watched (or didn't); it wasn't directed to you.

And I still stand by what I said - can't some posters just give the host bashing a rest for even one night?  Especially at Christmas?  Woman Frustrated

Re: Wrap Up Quacker Show Today

For some reason, I happened to have this show on, mainly as white noise. But wow, it really was a mess. Not only did the two talk over each other constantly, but Jane kept going completely off topic and staying there way too long. It was not enjoyable, and yes, I finally decided that silence was better than white noise this time.

Re: Wrap Up Quacker Show Today

[ Edited ]

So I noticed too much talking during the midnight show with Sandra and Angel.  They both told personal story after story and really, the clothing got very little show time.  I have stated before...please...hosts, focus on the product and cut out the personal stories.  I don't want to hear them and the continuous personal tales do not incentivize me to buy the item/clothing.

I ended up just changing the channel and then looking at

Items Recently Aired.

I Know it wasn't directed at me, but you are missing my point.  She may have shut it off at 3:00, but didn't post till 4:00.

@corita  I don't think some of the hosts realize how fast they babble.  Christmas or not, if we don't point out that it isn't about them, things will never change.

I'm not missing your point.  But if you say "turning it off now" that indicates you are turning off at the point at which you're speaking (or writing).  Not an hour ago or two hours ago.  In that case you'd say "I turned it off".

No point in debating further, however.  I watched the show again, because I was "half-listening" the first time (busy) and I still didn't see anything wrong with it.  I just felt they were in a more relaxed mood as it was Christmas Eve.  They were both troopers, IMO, to be there doing shows all day yesterday.

Some people weren't happy with it; others of us thought it was fine.

LOL - posters on these boards have been pointing out the "flaws" in each and every host for years.  It hasn't changed a thing!  Woman LOL
