Has anyone noticed or is it just me.....checked my wish list and prices seem to go up and down.Items once on clearance have increased in price .Check your wish lists people.....just saying!

@Fern1954I don't keep a wish list if for no other reason than that they tend to make me buy more stuff - and I really, really, really don't need stuff.
I do keep a needs list, but it's short and reflects imminent needs more than an idea about something I might buy if it were on sale.
As I've been purging my closets and cabinets, one thing I've decided is that I've too often been a sucker for sales - buying something more because it was on sale than because I was sure I'd use it. In he large bag almost ready to go to thrift, well over half the items good enough to be worth their selling were on sale when I bought them. Some still have those darn sale tags, and the other might have been worn fewer than 5 times.
As for those price fluctuations - yes, they exist. And not just here. Some companies much, much larger than QVC do the same thing. No matter where I shop, educating myself and knowing my real needs and wants are the best ways for me to control my spending.

@Fern1954 I just put a few things on my wish list for the first time this week. I
also made a note of it so prices will not increase until I purchase any of them. If they
do then I probably will not buy. Yes, it surely "pays" to keep an eye on these things.
I am waiting on a free shipping and handling. Adds up too fast with s and h and
tax. They could sell out but that's o.k. too. Not the end of the world.

@millieshops Love what you said....makes sense. And there is nothing like a purge to bring home that I really don't need any more clothing and accessories! Stay fierce!

I have noticed the price increases too. It is just crazy. Two of my items went up by .50. They were on clearance already. Do they really need the extra .50? Is someone actually manually doing this, or is it a computer program?
Whatever the method, it seems to be just pure greed. Get as much as you can on every last item must be the QVC motto.
I have purchased numerous things already this year. But I have everything I need now. Going to give my budget a much needed break and enjoy what I have and stop looking for more.

I have noticed a number on clearance items on my wish list have increased in price. I thought the purpose of clearance was to reduce the price to get rid of the item? I'm still baffled that QVC raises the prices of their clearance items.

Shopping channels have always loved playing games with prices; up one day, down the next.

I will just play the waiting game with the "Q"...wait for free ship and Lunchtime special pricing!

@Fern1954- Yes, I noticed a couple of nights ago that the prices on items in my wishlist have gone up (even clearance or "As Is" items). And in at least one instance, the S&H has also gone up.
This has happened before and I almost started a thread about it myself last night to give people a heads up to watch the prices on things.
A few of the things in my wishlist have gone up for the second or third time now. I just keep waiting until the price drops to something I am prepared to pay or I do without.

Mine rarely go down, unless it is a LTS, but Holy Cow, in the past week, the prices have gone up from $.50 per item to sometimes $2.00. And these are not new things, these are sometimes clearance or in one case, an As Is! It is ludicrous. When that happens, I delete the item.
It used to be that the wishlists had a place for notes, where I would put the price in that it was when I first put the item on the list, but QVC did in that nifty feature. Well, I have a darn good memory, and I am really ticked off when they raise the prices NOT from the featured price to the QVC price, but from the old featured price to a new one. Maybe they should try explaining that little tactic when they describe their pricing structure!
