Why is everyone laughing?

It's really annoying to customers to turn on a show and the hosts are still laughing about something that happened last hour. We don't know the joke, and sometimes they just seem to lose it about the silliest thing. We're not there on set, so we don't get it. We want to hear about the merchandise.
