As far as video game prices, I can answer that, having worked for a major toy retailer earlier in my career. Video game prices are impacted by the projected volume sales.
QVC would never sell more than Amazon, Walmart or even Target, so they pay more for the game in the first place. QVC may do a game system during the holiday season, but really more for convenience than anything else (grandparents, bill to ship to, etc) They're not trying to compete with the giant video game retailers.

That's why I always price shop. I can always find what I want elsewhere for less money and free shipping.

That may help some people but not me. We all have different abilities and preferences when shopping.
I don't need someone to show, model, or tell me everything about a product. I'm able to ask questions or get information when I want info or help. If the info I want is missing, I just don't buy it or I go elsewhere.

@Dennieee : What is a "regular store"?

@Group 5 minus 1 A store that doesn't do live presentations on TV.

What do you consider a regular store? There are inexpensive clothes at Target, Old Navy, Walmart, Kohls, there are Department stores like Nordstrom, Bloomingdale's with higher end clothes, then there are boutiques. What are you comparing qvc to?
I find Belle and Graver higher end than Kohls nd better quality and fit. There are clothes out there at different price points for a reason. Shop where you can afford; lots of choices out there.

In a way you do pay for the convenience of easy pay which is offered on this game. Electronics and gaming is best done elsewhere IMO. You aren't saddled with nonsensical packages of this you won't use or want and in terms of software, you can get it cheaper at other places.
