I placed an order for Kim Gravel's TSV last week early in the day & shortly thereafter it was listed as Backordered. If they don't have the item in stock the website should show that. I cancelled that order. They take too long to ship things as is. There's no way I would wait an undetermined amount of time for a "back order".

Yes, I had the same experience with 2 different food orders lately. I cancelled them both when they popped up "backorder" on one and for date it said "call customer service".
I cancelled both. If you don't have enough of a product don't put it on the air.
IBefore this happened I had ordered some meat from Corky's for a birthday gift and it was to come within a week. I looked at the order and they had changed it to "backorder". No Corky's ribs for the birthday.
I normally had ordered quite a bit of food because I am home bound.But, no more. If you can't depend on receiving it, what's the point?
