I wasn't watching but I'm pretty sure the producer would have said something in her earpiece and told her to apologize for her slip up.

I disagree.

I believe everyone wanted to move by it as quickly as possible and act as if it never occurred. 

Much easier than sweeping up a shattered Corelle plate.

I listened to it 10 times with my headphones in and I think she's saying "so preppy and cute". She said it all in one tone whereas  a person would elongate the "so" if they were to follow up with "f-ing cute". I think that this is the type of soundbite where it was said so quickly that it can genuinely sound like multiple things.

@THEY CallMe Mr Wilkes You seem to be closely associated with QVC in some capacity so would the video still be accessible if that is what she said? I think they would take it down (like the Corelle presentation) but I could be wrong. I just watched it and she did not say what some people think she said.

I heard "f...ing cute"  "Preppy & cute" would be an extra syllable and I didn't hear that. I listened a few times. I also put on closed captioning and it comes across as "preppy and cute" but of course so often cc is wrong.

Oh well it probably came out so fast that she didn't realize it.

@LuvSoCal   the producer may have said something to her in her ear but it was best to let it go rather than calling attention to it.  I definitely heard the F word.  Not even close to sounding like preppy and cute

Personally, have never found her to be among Q's more articulate or 'listenable' hosts, and her speech is rushed, but none of the suggested alternatives sounded at all like what many of us heard her say.
