@Carmie. . . .    It's all about if "they" like the host, vendor or whoever. If they like the host (vendor or whoever) all is forgiven. If not, EVERYTHING, and I mean EVERYTHING ( even things no one else seems to see or hear) the host (vendor or whoever) is heavily criticized.

I don't really get it. Really, who cares? They are just sales people, not family, friends or neighbors. I mean, really, if we can't accept differences in voices, sales presentation styles, hair styles, clothing styles . . . . etc of TV sales people, how are we ever going to heal this country and come together as one people, accepting all our racial and cultural differences, and seeing each and every one of us as simply AMERICANS ???

This is not the first time I am posting this, but here it goes again,

Not everyone has trouble with understanding the hosts that some people consider to be talking too fast.

What is considered to be fast to some is normal to others.  People from PA, NY and NY tend to be faster talkers than people from other areas. I don't think Alex talks too fast and she isn't screaming, which is a stretch no matter how you slice it. 

She is a young lady who is trying to work.  It is so wrong for anyone to come to the forums and complain and try their best to try to get QVC to take notice and perhaps let her go.

Just because she and other hosts don't talk like you or act like you and don't live up to your personal standards does not make them bad at their jobs.  Learn to be more tolerant of people who are different than what you are used to or prefer.

If you can't, then you don't have to listen or watch.  Turn off the TV.

QVC is not brick and mortar, it's a show that sells stuff . The Q would not spend all that money on sets and ads and hire people who have been in the entertainment business before, if they did not intend to draw people in with the entertainment so they will buy stuff. I bet very few of these hosts were business majors in college. My point is, the hosts are not just selling products they are presenting a fake persona that hopefully you will like and buy into, so you buy the product. The Q is successful, the hosts make 6 figures and we get great products. Everybody wins. Oh, I think Alex is one sharp and attractive little lady.

Carmie,  Everytime someone says 'turn off the TV', I wish that poster would not even reply.  Just listen to MaryBeth or Pat J ... calm, even tone.   No, we do not want QVC to fire these hosts who voice is irritating to us, but I am from PA and no one talks like that, I found it unwatchable, and I just switch to the news, no big deal.   @Carmie

Alex is not like Mary Beth or Pat.  We are all different and thank goodness Just because you and others prefer calm and even does not mean everyone else does.

There is no right or wrong here.  If something or someone bothers me on the TV, I just turn it off.  Changing the channel is another option and a whole lot better than running to the QVC forums to complain.

It was either Alex (if she screams and/or was she using a lot of millenial slang such as "da bomb dat com")......or it was Kathy (who flubbed up on ITKWD).  Both are new hosts that have some annoying habits....not a fan of either......
