As I turned on TV just now, Carolyn & Dan announced that someone had passed away, but I missed the name.

Carolyn's dog Johnnie died early this week. Could that be the name you heard?

There are times when you must speak, not because you are going to change the opposing side, but because if you do not speak, they have changed you.

Bird mama: I didn't catch a name at all. She was just referring to someone passing & said something like ""we'll all be seeing him again"". That very well could have been it. tks!

Carolyn wrote a nice blog about the passing of her dog Johnnie, and said how she and her husband were planning on putting a little memorial next to the tree that he liked to play around in his memory, but according to another OP the blog was taken down for some reason.

Apparently, she was so distraught, I thought Johnnie was her husband.

Well, I imagine it was the dog, but one of the members of Celtic Thunder died too. I remember when they were on QVC. It's George Donaldson who died, a huge loss to the group.
