Same boring products over and over and over......I wasn't interested the first time I saw them or the 561st.

My goodness how many presentations of IT Cosmetics and Josie Maran need to be shown. If those products sell so well why keep showing them. The Q has become very stale.

These lines are in high rotation is because they do sell so well.

Beauty product sales were down last quarter....maybe those that buy now have all they need...especially IT and Josie...OVERKILL for sure!!!

Probably because their target audience is those that don't set in front of the tv all dAY watching QVC and not those who want to be entertained by QVC who buy very little  I would think statistics would dictate that.

Nope looks like a lot of people are buying less.......

For the first quarter of 2019, QxH reported its revenues decreased 4 percent to $1.9 billion. This loss can be attributed to declines in sales of home, jewelry, and beauty products, even with gains in electronics, apparel, and accessories, the company reported.

@Spurt  It's not a huge loss.  All companies show small losses at times then they readjust.  To me it sems like they are getting more and more sales from younger people and that more than likely will grow the business rather than staying stagnant catering to the older customers who want things to stay the same!!!if they don't change they will not survive because the older customers aren't going to be around forever!!

You need to re-read the posts we do NOT want it to remain the same!!!

QVC needs to certainly adjust their product mix, not only for older customers, who are getting bored with their stale inventory, but also to attract younger customers as well....

A 30 year old is not interested in all these "wrinkle creams" and devices that remove wrinkles...If they are interested in other beauty products they can find them at Ulta or Sephora at better prices...Why did QVC's Beauty IQ fail when it was geared specifically for the younger demographic and the beauty products they use....

Also younger cutomers are not interested in purchasing products from QVC that they have in abundance in their local area so that they can purchase locally or can order online and pickup in their local store without shipping costs....

And they are certainly NOT interested in "high priced boutique clothing lines" that QVC likes to compare themselves too.......Financial journals have said the younger demographic is purchasing clothes from places like TJ Maxx and Marshalls.....

A better product mix would help sales for BOTH current and younger customers....Thats what many of us are saying....maintaining their current status quo isnt working.....

You watch for entertainment but QVC exists for profit so it makes perfect sense that they would give air time to the products they are certain will result in sales.

I've tried her stuff as samples from Sephora.   Honestly it is WAAAYY too greasy (between the oil and the body butters).  Trader Joe's Argan Oil is alot cheaper (and has the organic seal on it, which Josie's does not have when I looked at the bottle in the store). Has a better smell and not greasy.  Not sure what she is doing to her so called pure Argan Oil. Something seems off about it.  Not sure if there is something in the way she processes it vs. Traders Joe's or what. I'll stick with Trader Joe's.

I know you are being sarcastic. But there is a point to what you are saying.  If it is so rare, How is Trader Joe's selling it for alot cheaper (and as I said earlier, I think it is a better product)?
