I’ve been ordering from QVC for quite a long time. I’ve spent plenty for the convenience of having products delivered directly to my home. I’ve occasionally returned items because of fit issues but I’ve never had to return products because they were defective, until this week. I ordered and received a Lug bag with a defective zipper. The zipper was clearly not functional. Two days later I received an American West necklace that had a chain balled in a knot. This tangle could not have occurred in shipment because of the way it was packed. It was clearly shipped that way. Where’s quality control????

@KardiHow do you think quality control works?
I don't intend my question to be snarky because I also am a long-time customer who has seen less than perfect products arrive at my door. For me, this is not at all a new experience. I'm just curious what we can expect from quality control.

When I started watching back in 1988, they even showed how thorough quality control was by doing things like washing sheets 50 times. I never hear them brag about QC anymore.

And you always hear vendors say how strict QVC is about quality control.......Yah right.........![]()
Thats why there were thumb prints all over a frosted candle hurricane, and globs of glue all over a Christmas ornament set, clothes that you can tell had been worn with makeup and perfume on them. I got someone else's expensive handbag order my name/address on the mailing label but with the other person's invoice and personal info on it---that certainly was not safe as far as privacy....I called CS immediately and informed them of the error and sent it back making sure they didnt charge me for the return! And many more.........
