That's the thing.  I am not quoted or "@" in the post at all.  I would have never known a nasty thing was said about my photo not only in a different thread but a completely different forum.

Oh well, not the end of the world.  I am still a happy mom.

Thank you skylark.  It's odd because my face isn't even shown in the photo.  This person's comment was that if showing a blurry photo taken at a special event was the only thing a person could do, then that's a "shame."

I really don't get it.  I guess she/he just wanted to mock it and that was the only thing he/she could think of to say.

The photo is a little blurry, but I like it that way.  It lends itself to the way we both felt . . . a little teary.

Hi @LilacTree  I saw the thread you are writing about. 

You are quoted in a post on that thread where someone wrote about people posting blurry pictures. 

That would be why you received a notification.

@masque is correct @LilacTree, @glb613 quoted a post that included one of your posts and with the new system here that will cause a notification.

That's why you got a flag when she posted.

She did include a quote that included one of your posts on that thread,

so that caused a notification.

Posters are getting more notifications now because of this change.
