Re: What's with the online ""Program Guide""?

I so agree...I like to look at the day's offerings, but not ALL the other nonessential information like all the times product is presenting etc etc. I have emailed QVC at least twice to express my annoyance with the feature. Have not received an answer yet!!!

I agree. When I want that level of detail, I know how to obtain it, (or at least I used to) but don't want to HAVE to see it... As of this morning, I see it's still 'all or nothing'. Frankly, it strikes me as a big mistake for them to force us to see how many times they repeat the same programming...

One alternative is simply to assume there's probably nothing of interest being shown and to act accordingly. More times than not that's probably an accurate assessment... Switching to the weekly view is an option, but not one we should be forced to pursue, either.

I'd assume many of us have offered 'feedback' but this is either clearly the way they want to go, (and to heck with us, after all, we're just customers...) or they can't figure out how to correct it... I don't know why they even ask for email addresses from those providing 'feedback'...

You have to wonder if this is just now the way it's going to be...

The new program guide view is very annoying to me also, especially when I'm trying to view it from my iphone. I'm referring to using the desktop view on iphone, because I can't stand the mobile site (app either for that matter) so I switch back to desktop view every time.

Re: What's with the online ""Program Guide""?

I have contacted CS twice to be told to Call Back tommorrow d/t computers updating the schedule? How do they expect one to know the scheduling? Is LR's Posh show on her last Fri. pm 12/12? Thanks. Also anyone know if there is a Mrs.Prindable's TSV soon?

It would be extremely helpful if QVC would also add ""Next Day"" and ""Previous Day"" choices at the end of the day's loooong program list. It is currently only at the top.

I see someone from 'social' responded to your question about the apples and referenced that 'a few' of us aren't liking the program guide... but to answer your other question, yes, I believe Lisa indicated her posh presents show will be her last...

Oh and as for the program guide, even the weekly version isn't all that readable. Too many words... Instead of including all the too cute 'event' names, just the program names are all that is needed. Again, the longer version can remain available for those who want to see it, otherwise, either daily or weekly, the less verbiage the better. It's supposed to be a tool to take a quick look at what's on, not a thesis...

What an unbelievable mess they've made of the program guide! It doesn't surprise me, though. It's par-for-the-course for this website. It seems as though they're actually trying to drive people away from here. I will never understand their reasoning...or should I say their lack of reasoning. It's really pitiful.

If they feel the need to put so much unnecessary narrative in the daily guide, why not replace that and insert the items that will be shown during each segment…..like HSN does with theirs? Much more informative.

Each day the Q becomes more annoying. It truly seems that they are not interested in the consumer. The programming is the same as those middle of the night infomercials.

I just wanted to know if Carol Hochmann was coming on and finally gave up. I need to buy jammies for Christmas gifts. Will go to Nordie's instead.

You have to wonder if this is just now the way it's going to be...

It just has to be a glitch and not deliberate. The Show Details has either a + or - beside it at all times. It should have the + sign displayed when the details are hidden, so that clicking on the + would cause the details to expand.

Instead, we are getting the + sign AND the details at the same time.

When the details are shown, there should be a - sign there, to allow you the option of hiding them.

Tech savvy people, I know I'm not using the correct terminology, but shouldn't this be an easy fix?
