I know Kim ALWAYS has lots of slub this time of year.  I think I bought a twosome once but didn't care for it.

Now I see that the barefoot dreams TSV has slub.

Seems all the designers are doing slub.  Anybody here like slub?  I only tried it once.

@Beammeupscotty   I've never been a fan of slub material.  It reminds me of material that has a 'pull' in it, or in this case 'pulls'.

@Beammeupscotty I like slub knit and believe it has a purpose. Mine I buy are very soft and comfortable. Definitely more casual but I like to put it on at the end of the day to wear around the house.

It's been around for a very long time. I remember my girls liked Wet Seal and Hollister and they had a bunch of slub knit.

It is probably CHEAPER to manufacture...although I do like it in summer because it is cool and does not cling.

Hi, @Beammeupscotty !  Count in among the non-fans of slub knit.  Saves me a lot of money with all the slub fashions!

I find it an ugly word for an ugly product, but I know there are fans who like it.

@Beammeupscotty  I have been buying slub tops for years and years from J Jill.  I like the way they look and feel in the very hot and humid Florida summers.

Slub knit hides imperfections in otherwise higher quality, usually good cotton fabrics. Slub knit garments pass more QC inspections b/c the 'imperfections' are hidden in the fabric itself. That saves money by not having to reject a piece b/c of a flaw in the fabric.

I first got a slub tee from Chicos several years ago.  I really like the texture a lot and have been buying them here on the Q.

BD has another slub shirt, a puff sleeve top, that has a good close up of the fabric.  The fabric appears light but substantial and not the see-through slub used by other vendors.  These might actually be nice summer weight tops.  I do wish the color pallet was a bit more vibrant but that's not BD.
