My favorite Shawn Killinger moment is anytime she tells us about her pooping or when she announces she has to pee. Or anytime she shaves her feet. Such a classy lady.
kittymomNC - Oh, come on now. You know what the deal is, right? QVC has to be extra, super careful right now. Shawn is MIA and they have to keep this site in tip-top shape. If a host can come back on QVC for something they deem to be damaging, they can sue and win. Does QVC need that?
No, and that is why the administrators have been working overtime to delete any and all potential bombs.
Busy, busy, busy!!
It does seem odd. I don't usually see Shawn, but I did see the Poo Pourri presentation where she mentioned California Closet and her bathroom faux pas. I was kind of surprised since I thought there were strict rules against mentioning non QVC vendors on air. Edited because I can't type on this teeny tiny keyboard!
mom2ask - One night after Tuesday Night Beauty, Rick had a jewelry show and no Anything Goes was scheduled. Shawn throws it to Rick and Rick obviously joked that he was in charge now and Shawn was off of Anything Goes. It was now his show.
Shawn stormed from the beauty set all the way over to the fashion set where Rick was and marched right up to him to confront him. I could see him notice her in the monitor and he stepped sideways to face her. She gave him some lip and then got so in his face, he leaned back and then, stepped back to get some distance. I had the DVR going, so I had plenty of chances to rewind. It was no planned skit or joke.
That Friday, Shawn announced that she had Saturday off. No biggie, right?
Wrong.
That Saturday is the Saturday QVC stopped using the taped opening with her and David in the warehouse. No one -- not David, Kirsten or Shawn -- has addressed her not being on SMQ any longer. She was just off and we all know that if she was taking more time off, we would have heard about it from her. We also know that David would have opened that show with a nice, polite announcement to her fans.
He didn't.
The mood of SMQ has changed though.

If it had been something potentially inflammatory I could understand it. Someone made a comment about Shawn which wasn't very nice, and I asked a simple question. It wasn't even something that could have turned into an argument, I don't think. I am just losing my patience feeling like we have to be so ultra careful about anything we say. From what has been happening on some threads lately, it appears that we don't dare say anything negative. The other poster did, but I didn't because I like Shawn and her antics. If all we can post is sweet positive uplifting comments, it's gonna get really boring really quick.

alarm clock, Very interesting. I never thought of that. Qvc probably doesn't accept all the time S.k. misses from the job, plus other stuff. Whoopsie, this is going to be zapped. I avoid some of these hostesses like the plague.
