Seems this is just their way of letting us all know that they are one in the same now.  Somehow I really don't think we will benefit from any of it.

@LindaSal   Either operate as one or separately...If as one, should be called one name w/ 5 or 6 channels, merge hosts and vendors...same phone order #s, rules, regulations, etc. It will never happen.

Let it the “big wigs” run the offices upstairs as usual. The channels themselves have enough problems as is.....lol.😩

The silences occurred because sound does not transfer over instantaneously.

It's like when a newscaster is talking to a reporter who's not in the studio: there's always a moment of silence till the second person hears the message. It really can't be avoided.

It was really bad! So worthless - give us facts not this split screen and chit chat stuff. Will I save money now that you have bigger buying power? Will you be bringing on great new brands that I love? Are you changing the way you present and sell? Will you be laying off hosts? Will that rather loud British fellow be around virtually alot? Facts not fluff, please!

Wow, maybe that's why the older hosts are trying to sell like their lives or should I say, livelihood depend on it. I watch QVC very little anymore, because I'm not buying anything, so I didn't see the split screen thing.

At one time the Q hosts, Rick most often, would make snide remarks about HSN and how they longed to be in the same big league with QVC. When the parent company bought HSN shares all that jabbing stopped. Now with full ownership of both, the parent company wants the two to act like one happy family sharing a house but each in its own suite. Will be interesting to see how this plays out to the consumer’s advantage.

Gods blessings on HSN and all of it's employees.   And QVC's employees too.

My big concern is that HSN will no longer deeply discount as they have.  I've found a lot of nice things there for a song.  QVC will keep something for years rather than deeply discount it, though they seem to be having more sales.  Ten or 20% off is a promotion, not a sale, and certainly not clearance.  I won't shop at HSN if they don't discount anymore except for certain things I need like skin care (Elysee) and Sporto boots.

*Bitter* IMO it won't be to our advantage. I used to love wandering around QVC's clearance section and the web page annoys me so much now always having to type and search to try to find or overviews stuff I don't even do that any more.

HSN has great sales, coupons, free shipping. Wide variety of stuff. I haven't had a problem with QVC CS but I've read enough that it's not the QVC like it used to be.

Getting my HSN orders in ASAP - after that, hafta wait and see.

Channel surfing I caught Kerstin doing that split screen thing with Shannon from HSN. The delay between them answering each other did feel a little awkward but what really surprised me was Shannon. She sounded like a normal nicely spoken person. Usually she's rather manic and loud.

I saw Shannon from HSN but she wasn't with Kerstin, she was with Sandra and it was horribly awkward.  There was a lot of dead air and a lot of talking over each other.

I saw Kerstin with a newer HSN host, Michelle Yarn.

I didn't see Adam and Amy and I think Colleen and Rick were supposed to do this as well.
