I've had good luck and received pristine merchandise from "As Is" items but these purchases were Home Decor products.....

But I did receive a clothing item that wasnt "As Is" with makeup on the clothing and it also reeked of perfume....At least when you order "As Is" you are aware of what you are getting, but its not so good when you expect to receive a NEW item, but get someone else's return that isn't in very good condition.....thats the BIG difference for me....There have been quite a few cases of this too posted on the Forum, in fact there was a thread posted long ago called "Cheese In The Pocket"....quite an interesting take on the topic....
