Incredible....it cost me 12 dollars and change to recieve a Basso jacket and return it. Basically did not even try it on as it felt like rubbery plastic, the coat with turnkey closures. Boom...12 dollars to check it out, did not care for the material. This has got to stop, these charges are ridiculous. I am kind of fuming right now. Just had to vent.  TC ladies and HAGD

Re: WOW.. QVC RETURN CHARGES

I believe this policy has been in effect for 1 year or 2 now.  Makes one think twice about buying.

Re: WOW.. QVC RETURN CHARGES

[ Edited ]

My QVC purchases are down to nearly nothing because of what you describe. It costs way too much to see an item in person and try it on, especially now that clothing and shoe sizes are inconsistent. I can order shoes from many places with free shipping in both directions if they don't fit, and prices are often lower than in QVC. I just for found some identical clogs for much less at another site and with free shipping -- same item that QVC has on its site. I was a big proponent of QVC when I discovered the network ten years ago, but quality went down, sizing began to change from item to item, and now the shipping is just too much. I was pleased to find a denimand company sweater that is cute and fit recently but that was rare. The only reason I have replied to messages like this on this topic is that I hope that someone at QVC cares enough about their own business to read them and do something. QVC sales are down. Which does not surprise me.

Re: WOW.. QVC RETURN CHARGES

[ Edited ]

Recently I ordered 3 Isaac Mizrahi pima cotton t-shirts - the same one in different colors. On QVC, it showed $3.00 shipping --- except each t-shirt was placed in separate plastic bags, which I received all at the same time - cost $9.00. The t-shirt looked terrible on me - so I used QVC's return label (I put the 3 t-shirts in one bag) - and it cost $6.45. Total Cost of Shipping to me: $15.45. DONE!!!!!!

Re: WOW.. QVC RETURN CHARGES

I only order an occasional Linea and aerosoles if I can't find them cheaper on another site. I've only returned one item this year.

Re: WOW.. QVC RETURN CHARGES

This being your first return in a year and a half, you are still ahead of the game.  It's rare I return, but the shipping savings offset it.

So please tell ke who should pay to ship the items to you to try, decide you do hot ike and ship back to QVC?

You are the one who decided to place the order, and you re responsible for the shipping charges.  If you do not pay them, they get passed along to all of the other QVC shoppers, and it is not our duty to underwrite your shopping.

Re: WOW.. QVC RETURN CHARGES

I feel your pain....I have been hit with some of those fierce charges for returns....I have a Dennis Basso jacket sitting in the box in my kitchen...unopened...I hope it won't have the same fate as your DB jacket....
