Venting re return shipping.....

Ok, I'm just venting. I'm not looking for any help. I just need to let off some steam.

I purchased the Susan Graver ruffled blouse on fashion day. I have two other blouses of her brand that fit well. I compared the online garment measurements with the measurements of my two other blouses, and with my own body measurements. Everything should have been perfect. In fact, I ordered another blouse, from another brand, that same day. It was the same size, online garment measurements were very close, and that blouse fit perfectly.

Of course, the SG blouse didn't fit. In fact, judging by the reviews, it fit very few people. And, that same blouse on Susan Graver, and the models, had a roomy, loose fit. My guess is that they all went up a size.

I complained to Customer Service, and told them exactly what I typed above. The rep said they would gladly refund my return shipping. I think that was totally fair. If I return something, and I just don't like it, I don't mind paying return shipping.

However, I usually only return things that are damaged or defective.

When I returned the blouse, I also included the above information and stated that Customer Service had approved the refund of my return shipping.

Today my refund was processed, minus the return shipping.

Yes, I could call and complain. But, my time is valuable too. I'm going to let it go, but it will be a verrrrrry long time before I place another order.

In fact, I'm going to remove my credit card information from my account. That way, I won't be so quick to order, and it will be a reminder to rethink any purchase I might consider making.
