@stevieb I think they consider us a handful of whiners who don't represent the actual viewing audience. WRONG!!!
I would also recommend they do a survey. But, oh yeh, I forgot, they have done that before. Too bad they asked all the wrong questions.

And it would seem @faeriemoon they also asked the wrong people. Seems as though maybe they didn't really want to know.
And as for the handful of whiners, if they looked, they'd see that the same sorts of comments and feedback have been escalating and are now to be found on virtually all of the forums that comprise these boards. There would appear to be a rather significant consensus and while the boards might well capture only a percentage of their audience, well, extrapolation is clearly not their strong suit.

@stevieb I also think they count on the shopaholics (who keep them in business) to mold to their programming, rather than offering shows that will draw in the more sensible crowd.

@Shanus wrote:@ECBG. I'm also an Alberti fan. He's not on the Q because he they moved him to BEAUTY IQ as host. That's the only reason I watch there. IMO, even though that's a new venture, it's also getting stale and repetitive. I can see hundreds of execs sitting around a huge conference table wringing their hands trying to come up w/ new ideas to get out of the red. Hey people! Piece of cake. Read the suggestions & complaints on these forums!!!!!
@Shanus,Thanks, I'm SO glad to know about what happened. I'm not happy they moved him!

But you know @faeriemoon even that self-appointed group of 'gotta-have-its' is only going to carry them so far without at least a modicum of fresh merchandise... I think both product and brand saturation are serious issues with them.

ITA with you gals @stevieb, @faeriemoon! There's nothing like seeing the show "Great Gifts" and then tuning in to see microfiber dust mops and cloths by Campanella. That to me is an everyday item and I would not ever buy that for someone as a gift. JMO.

Oh my yes @wvumountiefan just what I've always wanted to open on Christmas morning... a beautifully packaged and wrapped (wait for it... wait for it...) dust mop...

I have watched QVC for so long and I can see a noticeable difference. Many products are not worth air time. Some old products should go. New products should be sought after. A new product department is really needed. Thought we would see some new and different things. I like the Q but work needs to be done to make it better than it is now.

If you watch Beauty IQ, join us in the live Facebook chat (it's on the Beauty IQ page). We have a great time, and Alberti and Elise (and the vendors -- Mally is a hoot!) chat back and forth with us.
