@ECBG, it's been so long since I've seen Alberti I thought he was gone.  He has not even been on the Friday Night Beauty the few times it has aired in October and November.  That said there's no reaso why he hasn't been given a hosting assignment for some of the holiday gift shows. I'm sure he could show a Luminara candle or the Duraflame as well as any other host.

     Agree...flipping thru channels is the only way I ever see the Q.  I stopped watching the channel sometime ago.  I turn on to the website and to see if any interesting items have been presented.  The needed/ wanted item choices are becoming fewer and fewer.

I completely agree.  Have not done any of my Christmas shopping with QVC this year.  I don't sleep well and normally I will put on QVC in the middle of the night but I can't even do that for something in the background.  Thank goodness the Hallmark Christmas movies are on all night.

@stevieb LOL.  I too stick up for the Q when warranted (some people have the stupidest complaints), but there is no way I can say anything good about the programming from November 1 until Christmas.  It starts to get obnoxious in July, but once you get to November, it's, for lack of a better word, unwatchable.

@faeriemoon So true... I've seen some pretty lame complaints about the old Q... but sadly, for me, programming is not among them and yes, especially at this time of year...

Hosts too are part of the problem, but one has to assume their behavior is being dictated by management... Regardless of the hosts, though, the item selection is just dreadful and, adding insult to injury, grossly repetitive with presentations that are just too long... Like I said, mind-numbing...

@Trix,I've seen him in videos when I've looked at a piece of clothing on the review.  Surely, they'd keep someone SO good!

Alberti is on the Beauty IQ channel Wednesday-Sunday night. I watch him instead of the other host for Friday Night Beauty.  He hosts five nights a week with Elise (sp), and they are quite the comedic pair.
