This pet peeve always gets to me. Buy one set og pajamas at 24.00 and save 3.00 on your next pair so that will be 21.00 and 19.00 so buy them up for Christmas. But what they dont tell you is your still paying 3.00 on s&h on every pair. Who came up with that concept as a good deal?

Have not watched anything in ages, but tuned in yesterday to some fashion show just to lift my spirits.

Would have been fine, but the host must have repeated 20 times that she was in a Small, but needed an XXXXXS.  Over and over and over.  Wondered if she would have said anything if she was in a Large, but needed and XXXL.  I don't think so.

I didn't care and, ultimately, it got on my nerves.

It reminded me of why I quit watching.

And so many of them couldn't close their jackets if their lives depended on it.

I get irriatated when they go to the models and ask them their size and height. They are all tall and skinny. The H channel at least uses a wide range of models. Big, small tall, thin, average, plus

@hsawaknow, I guess you save a little money if in fact you really wanted more than one pair.

@hsawaknow I agree. I guess they figure people can't do the math. It simply doesn't work. I never do that option any more.

@GinaV24

Exactly.  What you save on buy more save more, you just spend on shipping!

@Catch71, but if you actually did want more than one, you are saving a bit.

@ValuSkrI think psychological research supports the practice --  not for individuals -  but for the majority of the buying population.

Although we hate to admit it, most people like to belong, so if 41,000 people have already bought something, more will get into that group.

And then there are people like me -  if all they did was give what I could read on the website, I'd watch even less than I already do.  From the beginning of the time I started to watch QVC, it was their marketing that interested me more than the products!  I bought very little for a long time and then all of a sudden I realized I was falling into the trap.  Nowadays, I buy very little, I watch very little, but I follow the marketing by coming here!

 -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I do the same-: pay attention to the marketing. I don't know whether to be fascinated or offended (that they seem to think we're so dumb we don't notice how they're trying to manipulate us).

QVC offers easy pay like they are offering you some kind of deal. It is no deal... it saves you nothing.  I never use easy pay on anything ever.  I would like a coupon or more free shipping.  AND WE KNOW THAT IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN.
