I love the forum because I get great information and talk to such wonderful people.  I don't watch QVC live.  When I do, I see the same things that you all do.  Lots of activity and less and less about the products.   QVC obviously does not mind or they could put a halt to it.  They must calculate the sales per item and that might just be the bottom line.

I too am buying less and less and have gone mainly to Amazon and other online catalogue retailers.

I'm in the same kind of mood as you today.  I find it totally funny that people say they are not going to buy if they can't stand the people selling.  Does anyone honestly believe that?  Nothing gets in my way of a deal!  Nothing.  Carry on QVC......

Well, if I can't stand the host, then I'm not going to watch and for me, that equals not buying.  I'm not an online shopper and in all honesty, I really don't see much in the way of "deals" onm QVC anyway.

I DVR the shows where I might purchase and then fast forward through the show to see if there is anything I like. If something appeals, I watch the presentation. If I want to purchase, I go online and purchase. This procedure saves me a lot of time.

I love Lor's clothes, I have spent hundrets of dollars on her items. I haven't cawed in to talk with her yet, I'm sure I will at some point. She is my favert designer by far. I do find it disrespectful when the host constantly calls me 'gang'..ok, gang..let's go over here. I'm not in a gang, nor am I in a group of 5 yr olds. Mute has become my friend for Monday night Logo Shows. I do enjoy Saturday shows.

Some here sure must have a low tolerance for differing personalties (or be so bored with life that they watch purposely to find fault to amuse themselves) as many hosts/vendors annoy them so much.  Some appear to  watch QVC (and expect everything to be exactly as they like) to the point of such bordom that they find the need to nitpick hosts' personalities, makeup, hair and clothing.  I watch and buy because I want the product and nothing anyone ever says or does even makes any personal impression on me while I watch.  I don't however watch constantly expecting entertainment!  Everyone has differing personalities and it's ridiculous and an impossibility to expect everyone to conform to please everyone.

@Pook  Let's see Pook----

Low tolerance of other's personalities

Expect everyone to be exactly as they like.....

And it's ridiculous and an impossibility to expect everyone to conform to please everyone....

RIGHT BACK ATCH YA!

Related, I guess I'd add that if nothing about the TV presentation, the hosts, the vendors and so on makes any impression whatsoever and it truly is all about the product or products (such as they are...) then it makes perfect sense to simply shop online... Why watch at all,...?

Lol, proudmommy! Are you obsessed with Lor's gorg clothes? I bet you have something in orng too. When you wear her, do you take a look in the meer?

Lol, It's unbelievable that QVC puts hosts on air that can't speak properly.

What's with Stacey Stauffer's constant commenting about age?  During her early shows, her references to age were obnoxious. I would change the channel. It's been 3 months now, hopefully she has a classier way of presenting.

I have to agree here. As much as QVC gets on my nerves at times, HSN is horrible!! I have watched it maybe 5 times & decided it was definately NOT for me. I could never tell who was the host & who was a vendor on HSN.

"Meer"--that's a new one!
