Thank you! Since the host's job is to present information, perhaps those who use umm so much should attend Toastmaster's. It is annoying to hear someone who presents as part of the job not have a better command of English and presentation skills.

Commenting on the way presentations are done is not the same as commenting on a host's life. It's their job and if they aren't doing it professionally or with a command of the language, then it's fair game to comment. It's not the same as a "personal attack".

Thank You Misschristy, Most of us have host's that we like or don't like and we can go way back to read comments for and against the show host's. A lot of the posts are about the presentation which includes the way they dress, wear their hair etc. I, like you think commenting on personal things like the assumption of pregnancy or illness is in very bad taste and should not be done although their are some that nothing is taboo and that is a shame.

Fair game is a good way to put it about comments.

I never said she had vertigo, May have speculated with another poster. Thank you for you gracious post and pointing out to me that I may have mentioned her in a wrong way. I will be more careful.
