UPS Mail Innovations - Expedited service

I'm not sure if this is a new option or if it's just the first time I've had it applied to a package, but my latest QVC order was shipped via "UPS Mail Innovations - Expedited."
I had never seen that service description before and wondered if it was just some attempt at rebranding, but it turned out that it really was far more expedited than my typical Mail Innovations shipments: I placed my order on Sunday afternoon, the package shipped on Tuesday morning, and I received my shipment today, even with the handoff between UPS and the USPS. Very interesting!

Re: UPS Mail Innovations - Expedited service

Hi, @loriqvc !  Most of my orders from HSN ship USPS mail innovations expedited and I typically get them within 2-4 days of notice of shipment.  Perhaps the Q is learning some logistics lessons from HSN.  I'm glad you got your shipment so fast!

Everything I have, that got lost in the mail this holiday, was mail innovations.  No expedited in my tracking though.  I've had 5 things in the last 2 months, not show up!

Re: UPS Mail Innovations - Expedited service

I had to reply to this thread!  Yes, I've noticed the word "Expedited" on some recent shipments through this service.

None of them has made it to me any faster, which makes me laugh at the "expedited" bit, as I'd hate to think if they just went by the regular "slow" process.

And my most recent order from the Q?  Ordered on Dec. 29th, shipped on the 31st and I thought "WOW!"  Then...hold that thought.  My package made it to Connecticut by January 7th and since then...NOTHING.

Ever since that date it has said that my package "may be delayed" and that they are "readjusting delivery plans".  I've contacted the mods and they have no further information either.  If it doesn't arrive by tomorrow, I'm going to have to assume it's been lost and the mods will issue a refund to me.

Expedited???  Not in my experience.  Woman Sad

Re: UPS Mail Innovations - Expedited service

Must be different levels of Mail Innovations and generally speaking believe Q uses lowest level I have had packages ship from non Q businesses and never have problems receiving promptly. It’s only the Q packages that seem to go missing, and yes I’ve had many go this way. I receive all my HSN packages via UPS, must depend on area of country as to whether UPS passes them to USPS.

Replying To Venezia:

I had a package ordered on 12/14. Shipped on 12/15.  Arrived in CT, about 45 minutes away from me, on 12/19.  Departed CT on 12/19.  To where I don't know!!  On 12/21 got a message that said my package may be delayed and they were making an adjustment to delivery plans.  Still not here as of today!   I asked for and got a credit.  Have no idea what this expedited service is all about because they seemed to have shipped this order in a timely fashion.

@Melzie - Yes, that seems to be the black hole that my package dropped into - somewhere in CT.  Same message.

I've just emailed the moderators tonight to ask for a refund.  It's clear the package is not going to get here.  If it does, and it's not destroyed, I'll tell them so they can rebill me for it, but I'm not holding my breath.

I can just imagine a huge warehouse in CT, full of undelivered packages!

(ETA:  LOL - I just had a thought:  "adjusting delivery plans" must mean "We've decided we're not going to bother!")  Woman LOL
