I was unable to post for almost eight months.  I am now able to post again.

Two things I have noticed . . . Many avatars are blank faces again, and many signature lines (including mine) have been cut off.  I guess some kind of glitch happened.

Are these ever going to be fixed?

No answers, but it’s mighty nice to see YOUR avatar back again!

@LilacTree

Not everybody added an avatar - I didn't - so we have the blank faces because of that.

I see your siggy as

Is that your whole siggy?

I'm using an iPad. Maybe your computer is cutting off siggies?

Glad you're posting. Smiley Happy

@LilacTree I can see your avatar photo and signature line.

I don't have a photo avatar or signature line.  Just the default blank silhouette.

"Blank face" for me also on my puny Facebook account and only a mere handful of friends on that.

Yes. That’s my entire Siggy, @twentysixteen.  I did notice on my iPad that the last lineof many signatures is cut off.  It must be on my device.  Oh well.

Hi @LilacTree - @twentysixteen @is correct, many people do not choose an avatar other than the default. As for signatures, there is a setting in our profile to hide all signatures; do you see any? It might be a settings issue.

Hi, @LilacTree!   I think you'll find the signature line problem relates to your Community account preferences for text size.

(One quick way to check:   if the siggies look fine when you're logged out, but they're only partially displayed after you sign in, that means the posting account's customized settings are making a difference.)

I tried changing my text size, and if I go up to "X-Large" I see that some siggies are not displayed completely.

If I choose "Large," or "Medium" (which is the default size we see when not signed in), or "Small," I see the entire signature line.

This is true with my Mac, my iPads and with my iPhone.

The setting is located under "Preferences," then under "Display," and the section is "Text size."

Be sure to click/tap "SAVE" after making changes.   You can go back and forth and try various sizes to see the difference.

Regarding the avatars, as others mentioned we see the default standard image unless we add a customized one.

I hope this helps resolve the problems.   Always so good to see you here!❤️
