1. Emptying carts immediately  Can they give us about 10 or 15 minutes? I have no experience with retail management, but as a customer, if I'm seeing something for the first time, I might need time to see if it will fit in a certain area of my home (decoration, kitchen, etc.) or if it will go with something I already have (fashion).

I understand we can't keep items in our cart for very long, but then the online item description should be VERY detailed.

2. Special codes. I understand Q card holders should get special perks, but when QVC offers codes to "select" customers and the rest are left out, it seems unfair to me. Why do we have to pay more without being able to use a code?

Maybe someone here understands these two things better than I do!

Agree with you especially about sale codes to "certain" people only. Most retailers put their deals, sales, codes, promos on their website or app so all are able to use it. They are being unfair to regular customers who have kept them in business for years.

If you recall, they used to do the same thing with their easy pays. Only certain people would get easy pays, usually by postcard:Smiley Frustrated

@beach-mom   The cart thing is ridiculous.  At least let it stay until you have time to review measurements, size, etc.  I kind of think, if it's gone, it wasn't meant to be.  Frustrating though!

The code thing does really bug me.  I think I'm a good customer - several things a month.  (Maybe they want several things a day?)  I understand a coupon trying to win someone back, but I rarely get 20 % like I see people often mention, that haven't bought for years!  How about for the ones already keeping you in business?

To be honest, I do try to wait for free shipping days.  But
years ago, I bought the TSV often.  I can't remember the last TSV I bought.

QVC keeps adding more deals, but they are 'conditional'...

I keep seeing the black banner on QVC dot com that states:

"Special, Exclusive Deals on QVC's TickTock Shop Starting 5/12..."

Welp, I'm SOL...I have no intention of signing up to Tick Tock.

I don't even use the QVC app since I only use my laptop...no phone or mobile device when I order with QVC.

I suspect QVC is going to see more orders canceled in the hour after they are placed. I've done that a couple of times because I was so concerned that they would sell out of something I wanted but I just couldn't figure out what size to buy looking at the measurements. So I purchased both sizes and then went back and canceled one.

that's ridiculous but that's what QVC is pushing us to do with their going going going, and the constant recap of how many are left it's very annoying.

Every business has their own plans and requirements.

They allow 15 minute holds in your cart on purpose. They want shoppers to feel rushed and hope it encourages impulse purchaes.

Q has always sent promos and perks to random customers. I hear about a lot that I don't get.

Q's codes may say 10-15-20% off but they always have a dollar limit of $15-$20. Yes, every bit helps. But it doen't make me interested in shopping since I can get significantly better promos from other retailers.

Just go with the promos you get and stop worrying about what others get. There isn't anything we can do about it.

I do have a Q card but put many things in my cart and save at several stores.  I do this because I have texted my DD or DGD to see if they want the items.  Once they get back to me I either delete or purchase.  I will have to watch the new ways.

The "remember to check out now!" is more than annoying, it irritates me to the poing that I will find it o nline and buy elsewhere...even if it costs a few dollars more. It is one of the reasons that I no longer watch QVC live very often.

And the special codes for special folks just re-inforces that I am not one of their preferred customers-so I go to a vendor with whom I am special.
