A possible troll?  Im always suspicious of a new poster that posts, posts, posts then never returns.

@Imaoldhippie

Maybe they got an unkind answer and just didn't return.   I occasionally post over the summer, but when school begins and I keep my granddaughter, I rarely have time to  even check in.

Or maybe there's not much to say or comment on due to censorship by QVC. These boards are pretty boring most of the time.

I question first time posters who:

A)  ask a question and never return to respond, esp when another poster goes out of their way to answer their question

B)  they just make one nasty comment or complaint or statement and never return.

Not a lot of people are like me.  I post a lot.  They're usually long and I go on and on bla blaing.

I know people just skip my posts.  That's OK too.  I know there are people here who do really good posts.

They are short and to the point.  They often make more sense than many of my posts that go on and on.

Not everyone feels the need to post all of the time OR long posts.   Some people say what they have on their mind and just move on.

I've never been good at spoting trolls.  There are people here who are REALLY GOOD at spotting trolls.  When they do, they often call attention to them.  THAT'S the ONLY want I'd know they are a troll.  Trolls don't bother me too much......hummm???

I'm pretty new to this, but have been reading for several years. I do reply to posts, but I don't even know how to start one, if truth be told. Not very techie. Maybe someone could explain if I can even understand it.

@catter70, hey there, welcome!  To start a new post, under Community Menu just click on whatever forum you'd like to post in.  For example, click on "Q Talk" (which is the forum we're currently in) and in the upper left you will see, in red, New Message.  Click on that and fire away!  I look forward to reading your first post!  LuLu

@catter70  To start a new post you go to the forum you want to post in.  For example, if you want to post about a TV show you would go to TV and Movies.  Then in red above the forum topics it says "New Message."  Click on that and start posting.  When you've finished typing, click "Post" on red beneath what you've written.  That's all there is to it!  I hope I explained it well enough.

Yes, would love a definition.   For me, there are two posters who no matter what is posted, are combative, then I respond in-kind.   Naturally, my posts are removed, but theirs remain, then the name calling begins.  To each their own.
