@AKgirl2 and @SurferWife ---what am I missing?   My screen says $5.50 shipping and handling..............

We used to purchase Northern Nights towels all the time years ago from the Q; in fact there are still -6- sitting in my linen closet in fine shape right now!  They wash and dry up very well, there are no "stringy pieces," no bare spots, no edge damage, and the hand towels and washcloths look great as well.  Very nice, heavy weight towels.  I was disappointed when NN stopped bringng towels/sheets/quilts to the Q, and if we needed more I'd be getting these today.

i think that @SurferWife is from hawaii. i think that @AKgirl2 is from alaska......hence the greatly increased shipping fees.

i usually buy great towels from kohls (THE BIG ONE), but i am tempted to buy this set and like the configuration. in our house washcloths dont get used a lot except by me. everyone usually uses poofs, salux cloths, makeup wipes, facial cleansing machines, or other items in the shower. i do also buy inexpensive sets of washcloths separately for myself.

That's great if you need towels. I was just referring to them being a TSV I have watched Q for 20 years and in days gone by a TSV was an "EXCITING" somewhat "special item". Stuff you couldn't get anywhere else. Nice towels can be bought anywhere without paying shipping. Of course it's everyones own business how they spend their money and what they buy. But the thought of hearing them drone on and on for an hour about towels is a turn off for "me". As with the vaccum, mattress spiels. One sentence will do, it drys you off after a shower, it's a vaccum "it picks up dirt' etc. Get some new and exciting products and brands for a change.

I find it amazing that anyone sits through an hour of anything they don't enjoy.  Change. The. Channel.  I'm pretty sure these shows are not designed to sit through anyway.

I don't watch any of it anymore, I come on the internet and see what's on and watch a video if I'm interested, and I only need about 10 minutes to decide if I'm going to buy it or not.

It's a shopping channel, they put on what sells.  Even tho I think everyone in the world must have it all, I often see people posting wanting a vitamix, a mia, etc....

Re: Towels? Seriously?

[ Edited ]

They look nice but are way too small for my liking. I use bath sheets which are much larger and wrap around me and keep me all cozy until I decide to get dressed.

I get mine at Walmart as well and I've never had any problems with them.

I however am in the minority as I don't use washcloths so I prefer not getting many. But that's also why I like getting mine at Walmart where I can customize what i want. I wash my hands alot so I like hand towels.

I actually like that towels are the TSV though because IT IS something different. Cheers from me for that.

Sam's Club hassome of the best towels I've ever used and super sizedbath towels.  About the same price frame and no shipping....  Every time I go in I grab one or two and have completely re-toweled my bathrooms....

If Northern Nights towels are anything like their sheets, they must be amazing.

I have two sets of NN sheets and they are my favorite.  The best quality sheets.

It's right up there with watching paint dry.

Where did I say I watched the hour? Of course the chanel can be changed. The point was more varied and interesting products as TSV's. Towels AIN'T IT!

this is a really good buy for towels.  I've bought them before & if these are as nice, I'll be very happy with the new set I'm buying.
