Just flipping thru Tik Tok and saw this young woman selling a Kim Gravel shirt. She pronounced Kim's last name as gravel (rhymes with travel). This gave me a chuckle. It was the legitimate QVC, inc page. I don't think the cable channel's need to worry. I wonder how they find and hire these "hosts" fir Tik Tok?

@ccj , Many QVC items are sold on Tik Tok, and many of the Q's host's have issues with proper pronunciation.

I think you underestimate TikToks reach. I buy a lot on there and if you did any research you will find that TikTok sales are nothing to sneeze at. My daughter works for a large company pulling data and she said the numbers are huge for TikTok sales.

Agree @Maizie Green .  Tik Tok has a huge customer base with a lot of potential sales for the Q.

I am not underestimating Tik Tok's reach. Just commenting on the fact that the sales host could not even pronounce Kim Gravel's ladt name properly. It actually made me laugh.

Kim doesn't use an accent mark on the "e"...so people would normally think it is pronounced like "travel" unless she told them otherwise...

QVC is kicking off one of their many new, big, selling promotions on TikTok starting this Monday the 12th.  

Leah, Rachel, Jane, Melissa, etc. -- all scheduled to be a part of it next week.

Makes sense to pronounce it that way.  For sure Kim must get that a lot.
