@mosky @Ketra   Yes I was happy but glad, despite some VERY frustrating problems adding a pair of Clarks shoes ( 4 or 5 attempts before being successful and the shoes were the most expensive purchase, almost one half the total of my purchase) that I escaped the much more problematic website issues many, many incurred across the website later.

Sincere question. Why would you thank a retail company for doing what helps their bottom line, as their business is faltering? For doing what is business as usual (free shipping) for other companies? For throwing you a crumb, allowing you to shop, as though they're doing you a favor?

They should be thanking you for sticking with them, especially with all the problems with ordering, shipping, quality issues, etc.
