A TSV is no longer  a TSV ,  imo

Because it continues to be shown day after day on Q2 and Q3................

Makes the name wrong, but with so many posters complaining they think QVC has gotten pushier, extending the time we can buy the TSV relieves the pressure of an impulsive decision.  That's all good, imo

I don't watch Q2 or Q3, so I don't see any of that.

I like that we have more time to check out the TSV now. Sometimes I buy early, sometimes the day of... sometimes the day after. It's nice to be able to buy it the day after and still get the TSV price.

Completely agree. Not sure that it somehow tarnishes the "TSV-ness" of an item to give people more time to give their purchases more consideration. Fewer returns, means less strain on the transporation system through additional trucks on the roads - gas, traffic, accidents, etc. Only an upside to this.

It used to be so exciting. Sometimes I would wait up to see what it was. Now it's just not that exciting.

IMO the reason for this is that they’re not selling enough of the TSVs one day, so they extend it, hoping to sell more.

The Lock and Lock TSV was  cheaper on the Saturday after that had free shipping than on the day the TSV was presented.

@MalteseMomma

probably because they no longer get as many orders as they use to.  maybe i'm just cheap and think owning one dyson, one new mattress, one set of temptations and one air fyer is sufficient. <smile>

remember the days when the tsv would sell out by the mid afternoon and then there would be  one day only's for the rest of the day? while i no longer watch as much, i don't see several one day only's on the web site, like i use to.

I think it's a good idea to extend the TSV. If you're not able to take advantage of the deal on the first day, there's a chance to get the item at the sale price the next day.

Since the TSVs are no longer selling out, and are being extended, l think the Q needs to evaluate: WHY aren’t they selling out? I can think of several reasons:

They order too much product.

The products are uninspiring.

The products are repetitive.

The products are over-priced.

There should be FREE shipping on all TSVs.

The presentations are too long, like infomercials.

Some hosts and vendors are hard-sell, shouting, and annoying.

To sum it up, the TSVs are no longer “today’s,” “special,” or “values.” And the presentations are hard to watch. JMHO.
