Has anyone noticed after the special is over, the price goes up only about $2-5.00 in many cases?  So much for a "special" price!!!   Yesterday's Philosophy's is just one example!

Yep, I don't even pay any attention to TSVs any more.  They're no bargain and often just some old junk they're trying to get rid of.  Sometimes defective.

But if you used a Q card you got free shipping.

The "v" in QVC stands for value. Sadly they jumped the shark 20 years ago. QVCs prices are rarely a value, even todays specials and Big Deals.  And with a little digging you can usually find similar items much much cheaper. Most of us shop QVC for convenience and the friends/family aspect. We enjoy the banter. QVC feels much more personal than Amazon. Younger consumers seem to enjoy Amazon. I find them chilly.

Yes I have to laugh at that!  They act like we are saving so much when you go back and check it's only a few dollars!

In my 20+ years of watching, I can only remember one TSV that I purchased, a Dennis Basso jacket that I should have sent back.  Along with the price I don't think any today's "specials" are special nor are they a "value."

I noticed years ago that the pricing does not increase by that much.

HSN on the other hand normally has big increases after the special is over so you feel as if you have really saved  money.

That is one reason I don't get too bummed out if I decide later I wished I had purchased.  I can for not that much difference.

Only thing right now is free shipping on TSV with Q card.  I have a Q card and purchase everything on that but never ever carry a balance.  If charged interest no bargain so will not do.

Yes and the same for HSN, which is where I purchase more.  Iman's TSV from last Thursday went up $3 in price.  I got a 20% coupon this week, which if I had used it on the Iman TSV, would have made it cheaper than the TSV price.
