I think the sweater for TSV is so pretty.  I love the different stitch patterns.  Sadly, I cannot wear wool, even w/something under it.  Enjoy, those who can.Woman Very Happy

@Patriot3 Have you ever tried Merino wool - I promise it isn't at all scratchy and I often wear it with a vest top underneath and a scarf for layering! The colours are just so amazing! Best wishes Barbara

Here is a cotton/linen blend.  The reviews say to size up, which the video also mentions.

Like the post before me  says, though, merino wool does not itch.  I have extreme sensitivity to wool and also have many Irish sweaters from QVC.   I find that the Kilronan brand ones do itch somewhat, but John Cullen's Aran brand merino wools never do.

As he said this morning during Emerald Isle Style, in olden days underwear was made from merino wool so how itchy could it be?   I love all my merino wool sweaters from John C.   They are beautifully crafted with workmanship you just don't find any more here in the USA sadly.  They are perfection and with proper care they will last for years and years.  Not to mention you'll get compliments galore esp. because thye come in such beautiful colors you don't usually see in Irish sweaters.

I can wear wool, I just don't.  Living in the South, it just does not get cold enough.  I wore to work one day the one wool sweater I own and I about fried.  So, even though the Irish sweaters are gorgeous, I just can't justify buying one.  I wish they would do a TSV in cotton!  QVC, are you listening??

I also like the irish sweaters, but since I live in AZ I have no use for one

Even a light and airy cotton/ linen blaned shrug-like sweater?   That can be worn in hot weather for sure.

I agree.  ALL wool is itchy, in my opinion.  I maybe had one or two wool items years ago, and have avoided it ever since.
