@Catch71 - I am sorry you're receiving spam calls, but I haven't received a single spam call in months, so I would doubt the contest is the source. A far more likely catalyst is all the political campaigning going on across the country. Yuck.

I watched at 7,9 & 11 yesterday & never saw or heard the word of the day. Is it not done on Sunday? Actually, I haven't heard or seen it this evening.

I've been receiving a lot of spam emails right after entering the Sweeps.

@Catch71Are you sure the spam calls are the result of entering the Sweeps at the Q? I haven’t gotten spam calls in ages and I enter just about every QVC contest there is. And so does my husband. I don’t trust any other so called giveaways other than the Q’s.

Some information about people may be on the dark web and trigger spam emails, texts, or calls. Maybe your info isn't but Catch71's is.

I cannot prove it, I just noticed they started coming in like crazy after entering the sweeps contest. I don't usually enter contests anywhere so it seems suspicious to me.

Your info may be on the dark web. It's easy for that to happen. Just click on something by accident or a fake version of a legitimate site.

I recently added a reputable VPN to my devices and it's amazing how few spam messages and emails I now receive. The first thing it did was tell what was on the dark web so I blocked it. I clear my cookies, cache, and history every week so unknown sites/people can't track me.

My phone tells me when I receive a spam call. I don't answer and then I block that number. It took a while but I get very few spam calls now.

I investigated fraud for 20 years. There is no way I'll enter some contest by a third party, even if I trust the actual company. It's a good way for info to be misused or end up on the dark web.

It would seem that a company such as the Q, which brags they are watched in 100 million homes, could do better than offer $100 which goes back into their pocket.

The contest seems an embarresment.  Silly game like we are children in elementary

school, waiting for the word of the day.  Was hoping no one would enter and show the Q their customers deserve something better.  Forget the childish games that

really offer their mass of millions nothing in return.
