@group5 minus1- what the original poster means is that we are in the SUMMER season of events- and QVC wants to shove Christmas down our throats!!! I know they are a shopping channel and it’s all about the almighty dollar- but why not just ENJOY SUMMER EVENTS first.

I can juggle multiple holidays/seasons at the same time.......

I decorate the outside of my home for the 4th of July and I'm inside enjoying CIJ! 🎅🤶🎄⛄

To be honest, Fall is my favorite season.🍁🍂🕸🎃

I didn't read it that way. She wants to enjoy the present and that includes the summer solstice.

I’m not for or against Christmas in July but it’s SUMMER SOLSTICE can’t we ever be in the present? It’s also Father’s Day weekend. Then we have Fourth of July and America’s 250! Not to mention the World Cup happening. All things sports, sun, picnic should be on I know retail is months ahead but now Christmas in July is Christmas in June?

I'm with you. I want to live today, enjoy today, enjoy days as they come. I haven't watched a Christmas show on Q since the 1990s and don't plan to start now.

My dog thinks we both have to go to bed when it starts getting dark. I really enjoy longer days anyway but it's a plus to avoid his begging at night.

What I am doing is enjoying every day no matter what the weather.

I watched a little yesterday and then turned the tv off and thought nope not going to sit and watch tv today.  I had too much I wanted to do and mission accomplished.  I just can't watch that much any more.  I weaned myself away and so glad I did.

I use to have that tv going 24/7 no matter what I was doing for noise I guess.  I now listen to music or just quiet and carry on.

I say watch or don't watch and totally up to us.  What I don't like it reminds me how fast the year is going.  I can't believe mid June already.

Oh yea, right there with you. Memories of summer are one thing, the reality of summer is something altogether different. I don't and can't live now the same ways I did in my younger years and the too long, too hot summer is no longer a thing of joy as far as I'm concerned. I look forward to an early and long fall. As for QVC's programming, CIJ or whatever, it's all become completely stale. I rarely watch and so unless there's some sort of meaningful shift away from the same old stuff, I don't much care what they present because odds are, I'm not watching.
