I agree with the annoyance. It's fine to poke a finger in once to show the thickness, consistency, etc., but then just leave it alone. That constant goop=bouncing is pointless and - yes - annoying as all heck. Perhaps it dosen't seem so bad to them in person, but when the image fills up the whole tv screen for us viewers, it's just looks icky.

Interesting subject line.
Thought Shawn was being naughty

Bothers me, too. Almost like being on a boat in choppy water..........
I keep thinking of all of the bacteria crawling around in the cream.
I would prefer using a very small plastic spoon or mini-spatula.
I hope they dispose of each tub of cream. Hope it doesn't go into an 'As Is' bin.

This past Wed they had a K Beauty cream as a TS on HSN, they kept putting it on their hands then clapping them together to show the product flying around, it was a total turn off to me.

@ROMARY - I've often thought that the person contaminating the product gets to keep the product. Just like the models when they demonstrate makeup. They can't sell used makeup. I would think that the models get to keep it for themselves.

.....San Antonio Girl:
Yes, now that I'm thinking about it, I'm sure you are correct.
The models, vendors, and hosts probably keep their demonstration products.

ITA with the OP on this as I find it annoying as well. The hsn hosts are always doing this as well--putting a little bit of the cream on their hand and then bouncing it up and down with their finger. Drives me nuts!

Agree, all the grabbing goobs of cream and smearing it around with all their diamond jewelry on is a big No for me .
Who in their right mind goobs up their fine jewelry ?

LOL; true!!
They love to bounce the glop (or goop).
(I'm thinking glop has more viscosity than goop.)
