Sometimes it’s the small things that irritate me.

One of these small things happens whenever a vendor is displaying some kind of face goop in a jar. Tonight it was Elemis, displayed in a round jar with the lid off so viewers could appreciate its whitish, creamy texture.

As always, the host (doesn’t matter which one; they all do it) stuck her fingers in the top layer of the goop and bounced her fingers up and down, up and down. White, creamy goop all over her fingers. Bounce, bounce. It reminded me of a baby playing with its pudding. The vendor is talking, the host is talking, and the host keeps bouncing her fingers up and down on the product.

What is this supposed to be showing us? I can’t explain why but it always bothers me. Fingers in the jar, bounce bounce bounce. I know I’m being petty. It’s a small irritant, not important in the grand scheme of things. Still, it really bugs me!

LOL and I have to laugh when I see models spraying scents on repeatedly and SMILING like they are having the time of their lives...so funny.

@hkrgrl @DrumPounder @bargainsgirl

It happened one weekend that the vendors/hosts presenting began moving, moving, moving products around‼️

The most obvious imo happened when they began moving suitcases constantly around‼️

Next it happened in a Lug presentation (so obnoxious)‼️

Agreed---not sure what the bouncing of the stuff is actually supposed to demonstrate--like the squishing of most the food on those shows---is annoying!!!!

@DrumPounder I agree! What really bothers me about it is they are contaminating the product as you should never put your fingers in a jar of any skin care product.

I totally get your feelings on this @DrumPounder . I do believe anything done repetitively, over and over, becomes annoying. When they continually squish food together, open and close open and close items, constantly squeeze sponges to make bubbles, same words used again and again, etc.

I too would get annoyed by these so I never watch an entire presentation. I am usually doing something around the house or on my laptop.

I feel sorry for the presenters.  Oh look!  A jar!  With a lid!  With white cream!  May or not have a false bottom!
