My feelings is that it's not thirty years ago.
I spent more years dealing with phone calls to last a lifetime. I don't place a call or receive a call unless it's essential. QVC is not essential.

I was able to get one order in tonight.. However, I had to try several times. I keep getting the qvc.com is not working page about half the time, even when just checking on the arrival date of some orders. Very frustrating. I always use the rebate sites when ordering which is why I use the online ordering instead of calling. I also think it is faster.

@Love my grandkids You would be surprised at how much money you are saving by getting cash back.. It does pay to use these sites..I understand her point of view. If you are going to purchase items why not get a benefit.

@Love my grandkids. I've collected almost $7,000 from rebate sites. Not to be sniffed at, it's a significant chunk of change.

@beach-mom - On Thursday evening - CA time - I placed an Auto-delivery order for the Peter Thomas Roth TSV. Received a confirming email from QVC stating it was Auto-delivery and I looked at the order summary and it said Auto-delivery. Because I was having so many problems with the website when trying to place my order, I called CS to verify that the order went through and that it went through as an AD. I was told that it had.
However, the order was not showing up on my Auto-Delivery page like my other AD items. I waited until Sunday morning and checked again and it still wasn't showing up on the AD page, yet the item had shipped. Once again I called CS and was told that she would "expedite' the matter to the IT Dept and that I should wait 5 business days for it to be resolved. If it wasn't resolved, then I should call back. Out of curiousity, I tried to check tonight but couldn't get through online to the AD page.

@JudyL - I know. It's ridiculous! Just now I tried to access my order history and got the "We're sorry. . ." message. I give up! ![]()

I tried to buy the Joan Rivers TSV online several times today, but even though iy shows up as available, every time I hit add to cart it says just sold out I am not calling because I am not sure I should get it. So I will let go.
But yes, I would have probably checked out if I could have. My guess is the jacket will be available all summer for just a couple of dollars more, since other people probably can't shop either. So I will delay and maybe not buy, if I don't need. I do have other jackets, and a different one from Susan Graver on my wish list at a lower price that will serve the same use.
The TSV went up $10, but I won't be surprised to see it go down again.
